THE PHILOSOPHY
Ancient roots play an important role in the philosophy of the Sorrentino company, but this does not prevent the ability to experiment with new projects and introduce innovations. Aglianico Pompeiano, known as Don Paolo, represents an example of a rare oenological balance between meticulous care in the cultivation of the vine and impeccable work in the cellar. The complementary application of traditional winemaking techniques and more modern and experimental ones makes the Sorrentino company one of the most active and lively wineries in the search for the quality of the wine product. The manual harvesting of the grapes in perforated crates, the loving care of the plants, the silence in which the aging in the barrel takes place, are gestures of ancient wisdom that belong to past centuries. The technology of destemmers, filtration, pumping over, the scientific nature of viticulture treatments, the oenological laboratory work of the Sorrentino company are instead the natural evolution of a passion that anticipates the times and puts the most advanced winemaking techniques to good use.

LA FAMIGLIA
Sorrentino
The head of the family Paolo Sorrentino, creator and founder of the company. He has always dedicated his passion and ingenuity to business growth. Angela Cascone dedicates her passion and determination to her family; fundamental cornerstone of the company. The children, the current third generation with the brothers Giuseppe, Benny and Maria Paola who receive the magical art of making wine, follow the traditions but undertake numerous projects aimed at studying and enhancing all the organic crops to obtain the best results in a land of marked fertility and unmistakable minerality. In synergy they work so that the birth, growth and development of the entire production, commercial and tourist chain is treated in every detail and can be told to the whole world.

THE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The winemaking methods have adapted to the most modern procedures but the passion has remained unchanged
Paolo Sorrentino, his wife and his children have received as a gift from the past the same devotion to the land and the family vineyards, and a similar dedication to the magical art of making wine. Like a chromosomal inheritance, the ancient wisdom has been transmitted for generations, linking the name of the Sorrentinos to the state of grace of quality Vesuvian wines. For some years now, new exciting chapters have seen the light at the foot of Vesuvius: the time has come for the Sorrentino company for national awards and recognitions, for the appreciation of the European and overseas markets and for the challenge linked to the most advanced winemaking techniques undertaken by the last generation.
